Now that the realization has set in that I am just a few short years away from being 40, I am focusing my attention on skin care. I spent many years doing next to nothing to my skin and while that worked then, it’s definitely time I do better by my skin now. Today I share with you my experience with using Yeouth anti aging cream for acne prone skin.
Things I Look For in Anti Aging Cream for Acne Prone Skin:
While trying out new products can be fun, it can quickly turn into a nightmare if an ingredient triggers an acne flare-up. Therefore, when shopping for anti aging cream for acne prone skin, I typically select what’s familiar. Meaning, moisturizers with ingredients that work well for my skin individually. This moisturizer includes Jojoba Oil, Olive Oil, Grapeseed Oil, Aloe Vera and Shea Butter. These ingredients work well for my skin and are known for improving elasticity and offering skin repair.
Read Carefully If You Have Nut Allergies!
This moisturizer contains Macadamia Oil which was a concern for me. I personally try to stay away from any and all nut based products (as per my dermatologist’s recommendation) since nuts can aggravate acne. However, I gave this moisturizer a try anyway. Thankfully, my skin did not experience any flare-ups. I have, however, experienced nut based flare-ups in the past with other products and it’s not pretty. Therefore, not experiencing any flare-ups with this moisturizer was definitely worth noting. Please exercise judgment if you have allergies.
I’m not opposed to dispenser tops and thankfully, my pump worked just fine. However, I prefer twist tops because I never have to worry about the pump not working and when product runs low, I can tap the bottle against my palm and get every drop of product out.
You might have noticed L-22 on the front of the bottle. This moisturizer contains a L-22 lipid complex which is derived from natural botanicals of Jojoba Oil, Shea Butter, Macadamia Oil and Olive Oil. This complex aides in skin repair and improved elasticity.
The texture is silky which I love. It feels more like a serum than a moisturizer. A pea sized amount provides complete face and neck coverage. A little goes a long way.
Yeouth Anti Aging Cream for Acne Prone Skin
I like the weight of this moisturizer. It’s thick, offers amazing coverage and is very moisturizing.
I’ve worn it with and without makeup and my face remains hydrated both ways. It is not uncommon for my nose and cheek areas to become oily throughout the day but oil production seems a tad more when using this moisturizer. Thankfully, oil production does not melt off my makeup. I simply use blotting paper to lift the oil.
Hydrate, Firm, Erase and Even Complexion:
The product promises to hydrate, firm, erase and even out the skin. While the moisturizer is hydrating, I haven’t noticed any firming, erasing or evening but results may vary. Do factor I take really good care of my skin, or try to anyway. Therefore, any improvements from the use of this moisturizer are likely undetectable without a microscope. For what its worth, I recently had a facial and my esthetician commented my pores look open and healthy. Therefore, this moisturizer doesn’t seem to be causing any pore clogging.
Yeouth is a heavy moisturizer that offers great coverage. It leaves my face feeling like silk which I like. My ideal use is during the winter to combat winter dryness when my skin suffers the most. I consider this moisturizer a bit too heavy for warmer months though.
Although I haven’t decided if I will re-purchase, it has definitely been one of the better winter moisturizers I have sampled. Most moisturizers leave my face feeling dry but not this one!
