I purchased Aunt Jackie’s Knot on My Watch on impulse while on travel sometime ago because it sounded like a good product and it has great reviews on Amazon. Much like many things, it collected dust for a while. I finally gave it a try recently so I’m sharing my experience.
Knot on My Watch Description
Knot on My Watch guards against tangles, knots and unruly tresses! With the power of its “silky slip,” Knot On My Watch helps the comb to glide through hard-to-manage hair, leaving it tangle-free and protected from breakage, while restoring a healthy moisture balance. Use on wet or dry hair. Great detangling solution for all hair types and textures.
My Experience
I have very thick hair that is tangle prone. Going days and weeks without touching my hair definitely doesn’t help. But, that’s the story of my life right now. When it comes to detangling, I need something that will work and work well. Nowadays, I don’t detangle unless in the shower and my go-to detangler is Paul Mitchell The Detangler. Slip and hydration!
Knot on My Watch has a thin, liquid-like consistency. On wet hair, it offers a reasonable amount of slip allowing me to pass the comb through my hair without excessive friction. Upon rinsing, however, my hair feels rough and not well detangled. After multiple uses, I’ve concluded this is a no-go for shower detangling.
On dry hair, Knot on My Watch worked extremely well and made it super easy to manipulate dry, tangled hair. It instantly softened my hair, giving it a nice shine. Shed hair slipped right out and the comb slid through with ease. It left my hair feeling soft, smooth and properly detangled.
