FreeTress Creta Girl is a wig that I have been enjoying lately. It’s the best half wig for naturals, transitioners and those stretching relaxers. Although it is a synthetic wig, it blends with textured hair really well. You can wear it loose or make a ponytail as I have chosen to do.
I was introduced to this wig by someone that is currently transitioning to natural hair. She chooses to wear her wig loose and carefree but I’m not there yet. I prefer to wear mine in a ponytail or a bun because it’s too voluminous otherwise.
I haven’t learned how to cornrow just yet so I wear individual plaits, what some call celie braids, named after Ms. Celie from the Color Purple. I cross wrap them at the base of my head and pin them down with bobby pins. My wig cap of choice is just a basic spandex wig cap that I purchased from Sally’s. That’s working fine right now.

This is a shake and go type wig where you literally shake it out and place it on your head. It features a drawstring to help you tighten or loosen it to fit the size of your hair. It comes in multiple colors although mine is a 1b. I purchased from Sam’s Beauty and the cost was less than $20. Be sure to check out the product link. There you will find additional product reviews, some even with video.
