I have owned my Hot Head Conditioning Cap for over a year and have enjoyed it from the start. In surfing the internet, not every is as pleased. I read concerns about the cap not offering lasting heat. Therefore, I’m sharing some helpful tips on how best to use a Hot Head Conditioning Cap to improve your deep conditioning experience.
Pin Hair to Crown
Pinning hair to the crown of your head before putting on the Hot Head Conditioning Cap helps the hair to be centered in the area where the heat is most concentrated.
Plastic Processing Caps Help!
After applying conditioner to your hair, place a plastic processing cap directly over hair. You should then place your Hot Head Conditioning Cap on. Lastly, place a plastic processing cap over your Hot Head and then let the deep conditioning begin. Layering on the plastic processing caps keeps heat trapped within which extends the duration of the heat.

I love my hot head. As with anything that goes into the microwave, I follow the step-by-step instruction carefully so I don’t hurt myself, nor my new little helper.

I’ve been burned by an appliance before so yes, don’t hurt yourself.
Wow, I haven’t heard of this before. I kind of deep condition this way but with a plastic and winter cap. I will definitely look into the Hot Head Cap.
The Hot Head is quite convenient.
Considering that I think that my heating cap is on it’s last leg—I’m thinking that Hot Head would be a worthy investment! Thanks for sharing chica!
