Jord offers high quality, hand-crafted wooden watches made from all-natural wood. This means every watch is unique. Jord’s current series of wooden watches uses a variety of natural and sustainable woods from across the globe – bamboo, maple, sandalwood, blackwood, cherry, zebrawood, and koa – to create a luxurious watch experience.
Jord Wood Watch Collection
When Jord approached me about trying one of their wooden watches, I was very intrigued and excited because I do not own any wooden watches. Browsing the Jord collection was a pleasant surprise. Jord combines natural elements and modern design for an aesthetically appealing wooden watch collection. Jord collections are broken out by men’s watches and women’s watches, with each collection offering different designs and colors.

My Watch Selection:
Jord offered me the opportunity to review one of three wooden watches:
–Ely-Maple: smallest face and the simplest design.
–Fieldcrest-Black: mid-size and works well for both men and women.
–Sully-Black & Maple: bolder watch that works for both men and women.
Upon browsing the offerings, I was not in love. Sorry, but true! Dainty and feminine tend to get lost on my arm and just look way to tiny against my body-frame. And besides, the designs did not align well with my taste. I was, however, drawn to the mens collection because I love watches that make a statement and scream I’m here when we enter the room! Therefore, I requested the opportunity to review a unisex watch from the mens collection and Jord nicely obliged.
I chose the Jord Delmar Series – White!
Men’s Watches vs. Women’s Watches:
The women’s collection offers a slender, feminine design with feminine faceplate colors and the men’s collection offers a bold design with basic faceplate colors.
Packaging & Product Info:
Jord wooden watches arrive in a sturdy wooden box (how clever!) that can be used for storing your watch or jewelry. All wooden watches are adjustable where you can add or remove links from the comfort of your own home and comes with a 12 month warranty!
Comfort & Durability:
The watch is lightweight yet sturdy. I’m not much of a girly girl so my biggest concern is how well it will hold up to my rough and tough ways? Verdict — I’ve worn it to work, out on the town and even been caught in the rain and all is well. No scratches as of yet but I’m certain some are coming sooner or later. After all, it is wood!
Conclusion:
I consider my Jord wooden watch a luxurious timepiece that is unique, beautiful and of excellent quality! Seeing the watch in person brought forth a different level of appreciation of how well Jord watches are crafted and designed! It’s definitely a gorgeous and an amazing wooden timepiece that is very eye-catching. In an effort to preserve its beauty for as long as possible, I think I will make this one of my special occasion timepieces.
FYI: Jord is pronounced “yode” although my brain and southern accent continuously pronounced it “yord.” Jord is Swedish and means “earth, soil, land.”
Love the creativity. And thanks Jay, for introducing me to Jord wooden watches. As an African in the U.S., such pieces remind me of “home”. Lovely,as are you!
Thank you, sweet lady! I truly appreciate it. (((hugs)))

Tianna – I entered the contest and I am hoping to win the woman’s watch- Cora in rose and koa(?)! Crossing all fingers!!!
Thanks to both of you ladies!!!!

Yay!!! Go Ruth. I was meaning to message you on Hairlista but never made it back… or did I? I’ve been spread thin lately so please forgive my scatter brain. I’m sure he’ll love it. Happy Birthday to your hubs!
Thank you Diva, I believe he will and yes, you did send me a message. Take time to smell the roses – life is short! Enjoy the rest of your evening. I’ll let him know you sent birthday wishes! 😀
Oh ok, good. Glad I didn’t leave you hanging. My job has me a bit busy but trust and believe, I made time for a few personal (fun) trips. I’m out of town now even 🙂 Let me know his reaction when he sees the watch. But yes, gotta smell those roses… (((hugs)))
