In this KeraVada Review, I will share my experience with using 4x Concentrated Fenugreek Hair Oil. Fenugreek has been known to reduce hair fall, dandruff, and hair thinning and makes hair silky smooth and thicker at the base. This will produce a healthier strand that can withstand combing and pulling.
KERAVADA REVIEW [Fenugreek Ayurveda Hair Oil]
Cost: $15.99 | Size: 4 oz.
Coconut Oil, Fenugreek, Grapeseed Oil, Olive Oil
Fenugreek has properties to replenish hair growth as it is an EXCELLENT source of protein and amino acids, which flow into the hair freely with coconut and grapeseed oils. Many scientists have confirmed that fenugreek contains a large amount of lecithin, which is a natural emollient and makes hair smooth, healthy, and strong. This will give your hair more vibrant shine and you will begin to feel the silkiness of your hair more and more after each use.
Pre-Shampoo: Shampoo can be quite drying, stripping away an excess of natural oils from the hair shaft and leaving hair dry and dull. For added protection before you cleanse, apply the oil, making sure your hair is thoroughly coated. Keep it on overnight, then in the morning shampoo as usual. Your hair should feel soft and shiny, being less susceptible to breakage. This will help your hair to grow longer.
Conditioner: For a conditioning treatment, massage the oil into your hair and scalp, cover with a plastic cap and sit under a steamer or dryer for 20 minutes. The massaging effect will improve circulation and aid in hair growth as the oil nourishes and strengthens the hair shaft. Alternatively, you can wrap your hair in a heated, damp towel for similar results. Rinse out and style as usual. Use it daily to maintain luster and condition. Apply a small amount to your palms, and distribute evenly throughout your hair, paying particular attention to the ends. Do this at night. Wrap your hair in a satin scarf or bonnet to keep it and your pillows protected. Style your hair as usual in the morning.
Do It Yourself: Add 1 ounce to your favorite conditioner or leave in conditioner.
As stated in the KeraVada Hibiscus Hair Oil Review, the oil is light and easy to apply. I initially thought the applicator tip was far too large and allowed product to gush out as stated in the video. I now realize the applicator tip on the KeraVada bottle is adjustable and you can control the flow of the product.
As a pre-shampoo treatment, Fenugreek Ayurveda Hair Oil immediately softened my hair and offered good slip for detangling at 12 weeks post relaxer. However, the softness was not lasting and my hair eventually became dry which was quite disappointing given the great start. KeraVada’s product description suggests fenugreek is an excellent source of protein. Perhaps the protein content caused a protein imbalance with my hair.
As for shedding, I noticed no changes, good or bad. However, I have no issues with shedding, thus I cannot rate the oil in this area in a fair manner.
As much as I wanted to like this oil, it is simply not for my hair. After multiple failed attempts, I stopped using it. Therefore, my hair did not see the many benefits the KeraVada Fenugreek Ayurveda Hair Oil is said to offer.
