Check out the new method I’ve come up with for hydrating my new growth while stretching!
Yep, an applicator tip bottle attached to my beloved, Aubrey Organics White Camellia. I recently did a product review on Hawaiian Silky 14 n 1. Although I love Hawaiian Silky 14 n 1, it causes buildup up really quickly if I’m not careful with how much product is used OR if I go long periods between wash day. I’m currently on vacation and really don’t want to be bothered with hair, product buildup and things of the like. Therefore, I stumbled upon the idea of attaching an applicator tip to my conditioner/daily moisturizer to get down into the thick new growth and apply product via the relaxer method (applying product to the hair just like a relaxer is applied during a chemical touch-up). Note: Aubrey Organics White Camellia does not cause buildup on my hair and will allow me to go a week+ without worrying about rinsing or washing my hair while on travel.
I also use the relaxer application method for applying deep conditioner to the roots on wash day. This method works beautifully for me since my staple conditioner (Aubrey Organics Honey Suckle Rose) is in a bottle. This may be a tad bit harder to pull off if your staple is in a jar. While it may take a little bit of work to transfer product into the bottle, it may be well worth it for ease of application and product distribution (to the new growth). Do give it some thought!
Sorry for the poor quality pic but I’m blogging from a hotel room.
Catch you later!
