NXS Nature Intense Moisturising Hair Lotion Review
When I first received the NXS Nature Intense Moisturising Hair Lotion, I tried it as a leave in conditioner on two separate wash days with mixed results. My natural new growth enjoyed the product but my relaxed hair (the length of my hair) did not feel its ultimate best. Matter fact, it felt one step away from being dry.
After speaking with Delphina – the master creator of NXS International products – I learned the Nature Intense Moisturising Hair Lotion is best used as a moisturizer for relaxed hair.
As a daily moisturizer, NXS Nature Intense Moisturising Hair Lotion is excellent. It absorbs into the hair with ease and makes my hair feel very hydrated.
The consistency of the product is the typical hair lotion consistency – thin but not runny.
I have been using this hair lotion on a regular basis since the latter part of June. That’s a big deal because my running joke is I have committment issues. Meaning, I will use product for a short period before moving on to something else. I have enjoyed this hair lotion enough to keep using it without losing interest. It has worked really well on my braids under my wigs. I will likely finish it off this month or next month.
Product Promises Assessment
Promise: Leave-in conditioner & moisturizer for all hair textures.
Experience: NXS Nature Intense Moisturising Hair Lotion does not double as a leave-in conditioner and moisturizer for my hair. It’s a great moisturizer for relaxed hair and a great leave-in conditioner and moisturizer for natural hair.
Promise: Saturate dry hair
Experience: It moisturizes and hydrates dry hair without being heavy or greasy.
Promise: Protect ends from breaking and strengthens hair shaft.
Experience: This one is a tough one to assess simply because my hair was not breaking and experiencing issues prior to using it. Therefore, I cannot conclude it protected or strengthened my hair. A true test would be to use this when my hair is showing signs of breakage to see if it quickly halts breakage. Thankfully, I haven’t been able to perform this test because my hair is behaving at the time of this review.
Overall Assessment
NXS Nature Intense Moisturising Hair Lotion is effective at moisturizing varying textures of hair from relaxed hair to natural hair.

It’s nice to see that companies are still making products geared toward relaxed hair. I might have to try this one as winter dryness is always an issue for me.
Exactly! Relaxed hair seems to be forgotten about. It’s all about natural hair right now when in fact, a good majority of women are still relaxed. I think relaxed hair ladies are not on the internet searching for hair care tips as much as natural hair ladies and that might be because most relaxed hair ladies are salon dependent but still…we need love too.
This is my first time hearing about this product. Nice review, Jay.

TY Kim!!!
I’ve never heard about this product either. Thanks for putting us on, Jay! I totally feel you when it comes to “commitment issues.” I have those—especially when it comes to a moisturizer. Even if the one I own and love does a good job, seeing a new one on the store aisles will give me a wandering eye. So it speaks volumes to me that you say it is excellent as a daily moisturizer. Did it weigh your hair down with daily use? And does it have a distinct smell? I need something to help strength the hair shaft and I’m curious.
Great review, Jay! Thanks for sharing!

I stay having a wandering eye. Products are my weakness. It did not weigh my hair down at all. It’s thin but not runny yet it’s still effective. It has a distinct smell. I smells like a spa experience although that’s not telling you much. I will ask the vendor what fragrance it is. I think I’ve already asked this question but I don’t think I received a response. Let me ask again and I will report back.
