My Olive and Honey Hydrating Balm Experience
The Olive & Honey Hydrating Balm is similar to the consistency of honey without the sticky feeling. The directions suggest using on damp or dry hair. I prefer it on damp hair. Therefore, I apply leave in conditioner first. I then rub a small amount of Olive & Honey Hydrating Balm between the palms of my hand and smooth it on my hair from root to tip. The results are as promised – touchably soft, moist and supple hair.
Pros and Cons
I have used many different sealers with varying results but there is something about this one that stands out. 1) A little goes a long way so this product lasted about 6 months of consistent use every wash day. 2) It leaves my hair shiny, moist, soft and supple. 3) My hair doesn’t feel oily like when I seal with oil. 4) And, my hair doesn’t look dull like when I seal with certain hair butters that leaves a cast.
The downside is online ordering and shipping because there are no retail stores that carry it in my local area. However, if you reside in a larger city, you might be able to find it at Sephora. Aside from product availability, there are no additional cons. This product works really well for my hair.
