Wash days are boring and quite routine these days. Heck, I no longer wash once weekly. I’m washing every two weeks. A typical wash day includes: overnight prepoo, pre-wash detangle, cleanse, condition, apply leave-ins, post-wash detangle while tension blow drying, braid hair in 6-8 plaits, wear a wig daily and spritz plaits morning and night….at the end of the two weeks, repeat. Boring, right. That’s exactly why I don’t do wash day posts all that much any more.
Wash Day Products:

Detangler: Mane and Tail Detangker
Cleanser: Nexxus Therappe
Conditioner: Nexxus Humectress mixed with several oils

Tried Something New
I’ve been testing a product for review called Steam and Style Heat Cap. It’s a microwaveable heat cap designed to curl the hair in minutes. The warm steam from the heat cap causes the hair to take shape of the rollers. As you can see, I used flexi-rods. I set my hair with Cantu Creamy Hair Lotion & Komaza Coconut Hair Pudding. Further testing is required to get the right product combo, roller placement and curl definition before launching an official review. However, here’s a preview of my efforts…
Now, of course you know I don’t intend to wear my hair out for long. I was simply testing the heat cap’s ability while my hair was accessible. Back to wigs I go.
